DC-DC charger for 12 V and 40 A with two inputs: from the car's on-board network and from the solar panel. In a camper, this covers two tasks at the same time, because the service battery is charged both while driving from the generator and in the parking lot from the sun.
The output is 14.6 V at 40 A. The input from the on-board network is designed for 9–16 V, the solar input accepts up to 600 W at a voltage of up to 30 V.
The device supports four types of batteries: LiFePO4, lead-acid, GEL/AGM and calcium. The type is selected with the SEL button, and the display shows the operating mode: power, charge, full charge or charge from the sun. The settings are saved in memory even after the power is turned off. The REVERSE CHARGE button starts the reverse charge of the starter battery.
Protection covers input and output reverse polarity, input and battery overvoltage, overheating, overcharge time and BMS tripping in LFP batteries.
The case is 148 × 189 × 48 mm, can be mounted horizontally or vertically. There is an ACC wire to connect to the ignition, and the power lines are routed through Anderson connectors.
