12.8 V 45 Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery in a Group U1 case. Energy 576 Wh, dimensions 19.7 × 13.2 × 17 cm, weight 4.3 kg. It is a direct replacement for the 12 V 35 Ah lead-acid battery in mobility scooters and wheelchairs.

The difference is immediately noticeable: 4000+ cycles versus 300–500 for lead, up to 10 years of service versus 3, weight 4.3 kg versus 10.39 kg. Self-discharge is 3% per month, not 15%, so the cart does not discharge after two weeks of standing.

A 45 A BMS provides up to 576 W of continuous power. The peak discharge reaches 225 A within a second, which is enough to start from a place under a hill. It is allowed to collect up to 2S for a voltage of 25.6 V.

Protection covers overcharge, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuit and overheat. After an overload, the BMS self-restores in about 30 seconds, so there is no need to remove the terminals. The case is not afraid of moisture and salt fog.

Low temperature protection shuts off charge below 0 °C and discharge below -20 °C. M6 terminals for 6–12 mm bolts. In addition to trolleys, suitable for trolling motors up to 30 lb, boats and echo sounders.
