Battery monitor with liquid crystal display and 500 A shunt. The screen simultaneously shows voltage, remaining capacity in ampere-hours and percentages, current, power and approximate time of operation until the end of charge or discharge.
The shunt is turned on in the break of the negative wire, not the positive one. This is fundamental: it is at the minus point that the entire current of the system is measured, including the charge from the sun and the consumption of the inverter. Plus the battery remains untouched.
Control is simple: separate buttons for backlight, brightness and settings. If the remaining capacity shows incorrectly, the value is manually reset and calibrated to the actual battery.
The display measures 94 x 100 x 18mm, shunt 55 x 35 x 30.5mm and M10 terminals. The cable to the display is shielded, so the readings do not deviate from the inverter indications.
The set includes a display, a shunt, an acrylic protective cover, a shielded cable and a screwdriver. Typical applications: solar systems, motorhomes, boats and self-contained installations.
